ABOUT US
We are Mai Nguyen and Donald Muller, the founders of Grace for Purpose Restorative Care and Transportation. We are two therapists who have over 20 years of combined experience in a nursing and rehabilitation setting, specifically Physical and Occupational Therapy. We believe that working in the healthcare industry was founded on the principle of serving others and believe it is time to return to that core value.
As therapists, we focus on helping individuals reach their full rehabilitation potential, but the challenges of meeting productivity standards and facing routine inconsistencies, while in the workforce, became the norm. The reality is that such healthcare systems are profit-driven as many patients are inevitably placed second, when it comes to quality care. This often led to inadequate recovery for many individuals; families directly suffer, and yet again are faced with another hardship. Many of us will eventually find ourselves in a nursing environment, either temporarily or permanently, or may know someone who will. If it's judged safe, we advocate staying out of health facilities as much as possible, but we can also understand circumstances in which staying in one may be advantageous if proper care and quality is maintained. We've noticed that many families have unresolved queries and worries about their loved ones during and/or after their stay in a medical facility. Interacting with healthcare professionals is part of our service, and we can assist in addressing concerns to the best of our ability or provide the tools to do so. We are committed to lessening the load on families and, equally importantly, helping individuals regain what matters most to them: maximizing their independence and quality of life. We are able to offer excellent service with personalized attention as we are not bound by specific targets.
